Bathroom Vanity Painting

Las Vegas & Henderson, NV

The Same Finish as Your Kitchen, at a Fraction of the Job

Most vanities in the valley are structurally fine. Solid boxes, doors that close, and a honey oak or builder-maple finish that dates the whole bathroom. Painting the vanity uses the exact same process as kitchen cabinet painting: degrease, sand, bonding primer, and sprayed cabinet-grade enamel. The difference is scale. A vanity is a one to two day job instead of a week.

What’s Included

  • Doors and drawer fronts removed, numbered, and sprayed flat
  • Boxes and face frames sprayed in place with the bathroom masked off
  • Degreasing and deglossing, bathrooms collect hairspray and soap film that paint will not stick to
  • Stain-blocking primer on dark or red-toned wood
  • New pulls, knobs, and soft-close hinges if you want them
  • Caulk and touch-up where the vanity meets the wall

When It Makes Sense

  • The box is solid but the color is dated
  • You just updated the counter, mirror, or flooring and the vanity no longer matches
  • You repainted the kitchen and want the bathrooms to follow
  • You are listing the house and want bathrooms that photograph well

If the cabinet is swollen from water damage at the base, paint is not the fix, and I will tell you so. Vanity painting is part of my broader interior painting work, and I am based in Henderson, serving the whole valley as a local handyman.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a vanity take?

Most single vanities take one to two days: teardown and prep the first day, spray and reassemble the second. Double vanities or two bathrooms together may add a day.

No. I paint the cabinet, not the countertop. Painted finishes on cultured marble and laminate tops do not hold up around standing water, and I will not sell you one.

Yes. If I painted your kitchen, I have the color on file. If someone else did, bring me a door or the paint name and I will match it.

The sink is out of service on spray days, but toilets and showers stay usable the whole time. Most customers plan around it with a second bathroom for a day or two.
